Pohtiolampi Webcam

In summer 2010, a webcam was put up on the wall of one of the bird hides. In autumn 2010, we studied all the images and we gathered statistics based on the set of images. See "Statistics of osprey dives in summer 2010"

In 2011 and 2012 we broadcasted Live Video Stream via 3G network and Bambuser service to this website. Videos were studied and Osprey dives were registered. See: Statistics of osprey dives in summer 2011 and Statistics of osprey dives in summer 2012.

Webcam in 2013

In 2013 we renewed the webcam (Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920) and the mobile netstick (DNA Huawei E3131).

Video streaming quality (resolution, frame rate) is better than in previous years. Unfortunately, the connection speed is often very low, and therefore the quality is poor.

This year, we will not produce the statistics of the Osprey dives.
